I got DJI Go update to 4.3 today on iPhone. It’s mainly for Mavic 2 launch. Still not see the Android update yet. Anyone tested can report issue or improvements found here.

I got it this morning for Android from Playstore.

Dang... so much for the 'de-bundling' hopes and dreams... More bloat.

Why would debundling do anything?  The drones are all controlled via the same API.  It doesn't have a different code base for each one.

I do see video leg some time with my iPhone. Problem may be caused by the new HD video for M2. It’s bad as even the top iPhone model has leg. Wonder other device will be much worse. DJI need to fix the performance issue ASAP.

Hi GDL, thanks for your feedback, both iOS and Android have released DJI GO 4 V4.3.0, may I have the model of your iPhone and its OS version? Any chance to try another mobile device with the latest APP?

I use iPhone 8 with iOS 11.4.1. The video is not smooth as before and sometimes delay. I tested with MA in front of me not talking off.

I have iPhone 5, 6, 6+, and X. iPad Air, Mini 3 and 4,  iPad Pro both sizes.

Android

All 3 CrystalSkys, Multiple Samsungs, Lenovo Yoga Book, Multiple Chinese Smartphones and dual boot Win 10 / android tablets.

All with AU 5.8Ghz Channel Support.

For me the most important will be that it hopefully soon gets available for CrystalSky.

So far it’s working all good on my iPad air2, although I did notice some pixelation here and there.
But the distance was ok, 2km. I’m with spark btw.
Might have to format the iPad and fresh install dji go to see how that performs.

Still not here in AU.

Still not for me in UK, on android, my iphone has updated, and i know a few people on android with 4.3 ,weird how it doesnt become available for everyone in a country at the same time

I updated my App to 4.30 last night and today during a short flight the app shut down in the middle of it.
Stayed in hover while I restarted the app and carried on without further incident.
Hopefully that was a one time occurrence.

Versão 4.3.0 . Very difficult to connect the Tab S2  whit Mavic Pro

Take some flight today with 4.3 today. No issue so far. Video lag is not noticeable in flight.

Crashed the first couple of times I tried to use it  on android after uninstall/reinstall seems to be stable.

Oh boy hear we go again New Update the last one I had a fly away lucky for me when the battery reached 10% it came back from the Heavens surly went over 500 feet Thank God nothing bad happen this time I have a New Note 9 with fresh install will see the outcome results soon

You know its bad, really bad, when iOS SmartDevices start suffering from video leg (sp - lag).

Tested 4.3 with Sony XZP Android 8. It's clear 4.3 has lag by compare with 4.2.24 in same device. It's quite bad in sometime and the screen become pixel and huge dely. I need to kill all apps and restarted DJI Go many times to get acceptale video screen. I don't tink I will upgrade to 4.3 for Android device.

Tried the Zoom in very bad conditions to see how it performed. Low light and very windy. Had constant wind warnings asking to land immediately.

No Lag at all at full Yaw rotation speed.

Was super impressed that the Yaw rate is automatically slowed down when you are zoomed.

It gives you a good pan without the zoomed scenery racing by at a million miles an hour.

Zoom arrived 2 days early and the Pro arrived today. Also 2 days early. DHL does a brilliant job.

Well, I downloaded and installed Android Go4 app 4.3.0 the other night and went flying this afternoon.  And I have to report that this version is just like all the other versions I've gone through...

FLAWLESS.

Didn't have a single flaw.  No hesitation, no dropouts, no nothing but a flawless flight through 3 batteries.  As a matter of fact, the picture quality looked like it was much better.  Clearer and more vivid.  Better focused.  Even though I was flying with the temperature sitting at 95 F, (35C) I wanted to stay outside longer.

On a mediatek ZH960 tablet with Android 7 I get no live video, and am unable to play recorded video.
Live view has a blank screen with the telemmetry overlays.
Playback has just a blank screen.

Mavic 2 Pro with firmware 1.00 and Goggles RE with latest firmware.
The live video and playback works perfectly on the Goggles RE.
Downloading recorded video to the tablet and playing it with VLC works.

Also before I uninstalled / re-installed DJI GO 4 to force the update to 4.3 so that it recognised the Mavic2 properly, I noticed that by selecting Mavic Pro I would see video from the drone for a fraction of a second before the "can't work with this drone" message came up covering the whole screen.  This looks to me like a problem in GO 4.3.

I have also re-linked the controller to the drone but it made no difference.

Update: a $100 cheapie tablet off ebay which I've now learned has slightly dodgy specs doesn't cut it for DJI GO 4 (even though it works well for everything else I do on it).

I've ordered a Galaxy Tab S4 from a reputable local retailer.

I have two Crystalsky's and when I try to download the DJI Go 4.3.0 update it just hangs without actually downloading anything. I am clicking on the check for update button inside the app. Any help?
