What about the propellers? They look a little different. Are they compatible? Maybe a little quieter?
OcuSync 1, Ocusync 2 ?? The Googles seems to be compatible after new firmware... RC?
Does everything have to be bought new? ... so that we can observe our brown planet from above a bit earlier ....

The props are different.  Some youtubes compare.  They'll FIT on the platinum and vice versa but are a different shape and size.  The official specs say old props are incompatible.  It also says Mavic 1 remote can be used *at a later date* *(i assume firmware upgrade)

I want to say on on of the youtube videos they said no you can't. I have watched so many videos I don't remember which one it was.

Would be great if we only need the bird and the batteries. A good environmental argument... The tripod switch on the RC is great but not really important.

Hi Gaz Mc, I'm afraid that the chargers are not compatible. At present, the monitor hood, RC tablet holder and cables are compatible for Mavic Pro and Mavic 2 series, we'll release if there is an update. Thanks for your support.

that sounds good for the start... have two PRO RCs .

Pro  3 cell battery

Pro 2  4 cell battery

Charger needs different output and connector to work.....hence they are different, and not compatible
