I had a crash while landing my P3 professional.  There is no visible damage to the gimbal or camera but none of them are working after the crash.  It seems that the gimbal and camera do not get any power.  I wasn't able to download the pictures and video taken during the flight while connecting to the usb port in the gimbal.
Since there is no visible damage to the unit, DJI rep suggested to re-install the firmware.  The problem I have is that the firmware installation process does not start (I think it's because the gimbal is not getting any power).

Is there a way to re-install the firmware using the usb port in the aircraft instead of the sd card slot?

I want to make sure I have tried all options before sending it to DJI.

The only way the aircraft could recognize the firmware bin file is to read from SD card. Sorry.
