I have searched gogle and all the forums high and low for a solution to this...I currently get no more than 300-400ft when flying my Spark? this is extremely frustrating....I have tried the cable different phones have reinstalled the app several times, but nothing seems to work? Running latest ver of DJIGO4 app on a clean LG V20, Spark also has latest firmware? When I first got this last Christmas it seemed I could go up to 1/2mi away befor transmisiion issues....Any help is greatly appreciated....

Hi, thank for reaching DJI Forum. We do apologize for the troubles you had with your DJI Spark. Had you tried to turn off the beginner mode on the app? Kindly refer to the photo below for your reference. Thank you.

Yes beginner mode is off....

You can try downgrading your app to either 4.1.15 or 4.2.12.
Download from apkmirror and enable installation from unknown sources on the device.
Also disable auto updates in play market.
There is no harm done in trying;)

Please try to position the antennas by following the video tutorial. Is the issue is still the same when connecting the phone to WiFi instead of OTG cable?

Attached a file (1.5 watts  TX power) which u must place the same in folder \Android\data\dji.go.v4\files) folder.
Also rename the file as " dot DJI dot configs "file
DJ GO4 app v 4.1.10 and V4.1.12  works well with this config file.

This should give you more power than CE& FCC  . But take care not to use the RC / AC  for too much time  in very hot environment .

Is this DJI approved?

It's not working on the Spark, just for Mavic pro and p4p

it works by DJI GO4 app sending data to RC to increase transmitter power and RC signalling the AC to increase the tx power.
it works on mine with DJI GO4 ver 4.1.8.  i see a boosted signal on the wifi map in DJI GO4 app menu.

it just acts as a software switch.
