M2P...... was going to sell my Mavic Pro , but now I see that RC on Mavic can used as second Control with M2P I might just hang on to it, looks like I would only get 5/6 hundred max for it and RC costs €350 so might be just worth hanging on to. One flying and one controlling Camera appeals to me.

See, man.... you don't need no stinkin' Pro 2 !  Beautiful images.  As I said in another post... it isn't the camera, it's the skill of the photographer.   (Although, I gotta admit, spending $1500 US would make me feel "gooder")  Nicely done... crisp, clear, vivid images....

Good plan.  I'm just waiting to hear how the camera sensor performs before jumping on it too...

Our days are getting longer. Only problem for flying now, is the August winds in South Africa. Days are getting warmer, longer and some lovely clouds and blue skies.

I’ve been to Cape Town a couple of times in September, a beautiful time of the year, not to hot, great for getting around and seeing things, must return sometime soon.

Thank you, might keep it, I hear they’re going to introduce FW to make RC compatible With M2P so can use two remotes, don’t think I would get very much for it.
Might try selling P4Pro make room for P5 if that comes, I think if that was to come with interchangeable lens, all phantom users would jump at it, I’ve had both of them almost two years so they don’t really owe me much.

Good idea.  The Pro is still a great bird. I am keeping my Mavic Pros as they are unlocked for my style of flying.  Not sure that will be an option with the Mavic 2.  I had a Note 4 laying around which I am dedicating to the Mavic 2.  I hope it is powerful enough to handle the latest Go app?

Found out about it through this link. He’s usually very reliable and well connected.

That is honestly one of the reasons I got my Air.  
Had I known what I know now, I probably would have gotten the Pro anyway, but I'm still happy.

I'm looking forward to seeing what the new M2 will do!

I bought a P4P then the Obsidian was announced a few days later.  I sold the P4P to a friend...never registered or flew it.  Then every time I went to order an Obsidian either the bird or extra batteries were out of stock.  Always wanted that amazing camera!  I've got the Mavic 2 Pro coming so maybe it worked out for the best?

Just for your reference, I had a Note 4 edge.  I dedicated it to flying my Mavic Air.  Before I switched over to my iPad, (1 month ago) I had absolutely no problems with it.  It holds the DJI App just fine.  You should have no problems at all.

Now, my Note4 is now dedicated to the flight of my Tello, and I now run an iPad mini 4 on my Mavic Air, and a Samsung Tab S for my Phantom 3
