Trying to correct signal loss errors and poor video transmission which is getting worse. Checking aircraft for firmware version and it gives none. When i check for updates just whirls around and never completes. All other firmware and updates function normally. Does not indicate firmware upgrade required on Boot up. Can I wipe aircraft and reload?

Which firmware do you have installed currently?  It may already be the latest revision.  A firmware update won't fix your issue.  I believe your issue is hardware related.

Can you borrow someone else's transmitter to eliminate that as the issue.  The transmitter is very important here.  Do your camera record video to your SD card in good quality?

Well,thats the problem. No firmware version listed for aircraft. Won't check for udates.

I know the controller and dji pro  4 are the latest. Aircraft is just messed up with intermittent loss of signal and braking for no reason.

Hi, Sorry for the inconvenience. You can check the current firmware of the RC and Ac using the DJI Go 4 app then look for About which can be found on the General Settings. In any case that the firmware needs to be updated, the application will automatically ask you to update it, however, for poor video transmission, I would recommend restoring factory defaults then refresh the firmware of your aircraft using the DJI Assistant 2 to your computer. Please check the environment and the GPS if it's strong enough to prevent interruption to the connection. Kindly see the video and link for further help.

Tony, thanks for the assist. Looks like my problem was the tablet. Video finally gave up all together so went to a lenovo tab 8. Works great! This was my forth android device and cheapest yet. Looks like I may be OK unless they force another update. But still can't bring up aircraft version in DJI GO 4. But it doesn't flag so going with it. Lots of little bugs but I know the struggle you guys go thru keep up with android. Hey, we're flying here!
