What happens when you try to use it?

I'm going to take a guess that you tried it closer than 66 feet to the launch point and it just landed where it was??
That's how it is programmed (and mentioned in the manual).
Fly it further away and tryu again .. a few times.
Practice cancelling RTH and resuming control too.

Closer than 66ft (20 meters) your bird does not trigger in to the RTH as i know.  Fly further than 50 meters(164 ft) then call it back via RTH and it does it. Find out the right height for the RTH maneuver to avoid crash with obstacles.

Hi, I'm sorry for the inconvenience and trouble caused. May I know what happened when you try to use the RTH button? Please make sure that your AC must be flying above 20 meters (65 feet) when using RTH button. You can check this on Phantom 3 Standard Manual for further clarification. I am trying RTH at max range. Once RTH is initiated, up in the top left corner of screen an orange/ yellow triangle warning symbol appears and it says RTh failed..........  Thats it?

Or does it happen repeatedly?

It is set to return home at 70 meters. Yes it has happened several times. I'll try re-installing the app and go from there.

This might seem silly, but are you expecting the aircraft to automatically return home when it gets 70 Metres away from you?  Or are you talking about setting the return to home altitude to 70 Metres?
