Hi, any word on when an official LUT from DJI is going to be released?

Was going to ask the same.  Not a huge amount of use in a log profile without the actual LUT provided.

It would be helpful if you provided before and after video examples of each .  The small screen shots on your site do little to truly show the output.

I have seen some popping up.
But not from DJI yet.  

Generally only the manufacturers know the exact details of their colour curve and so on and only they really are able to produce an accurate LUT.  I believe one is published for the inspire cameras?

3rd parties need someone with a colorchecker and a fair bit of effort required to produce one.

I really Can't wait for DJI to release an official LUT for the Mavic 2 PRO. I will be anxiously following this closely. This is a vital piece to the Mavic 2 PRO experience and purchase.

Any sort of time frame?

Very much needed.  Dlog-M is *the* reason I bought a Mavic 2 Pro.  If DJI aspires to professional photography, an accurately engineered LUT for any logarithmic colorspace is mandatory (really should have been released on day one).

Has DJI ever released LUTs for any of their other product color modes (like older D-Log or D-Cinelike)?  Just curious about the track record on quality and commitment to supporting pro use of their products.

Needless to say, this is one area where I’ll be subscribing to this thread... and holding DJI to their word.

The problem with LUTs from  manufacturers is that they often don't look very good. See Sony's Slog LUTs or Panasoinic's gh5 Log lut. both crap.

Well, let’s hope for the best.  Ideally it will be an accurate and neutral map to Rec.709 — nothing more and nothing less.  From that point we can layer on our own creative/cinematic adjustments to make it look good in post.

I’ve tried several of the user community-created LUTs, and appreciate everyone’s hard work.  Each one of them is so different, and many produce great-looking scaled footage — and yet none of them struck me as neutral.

I've been using the DJI Phantom 4 DLog to Rec709 lut in Davinci for the time being with pretty nice results.

This is a wonderful update. I heard somewhere there was a DJI guide to correcting the barrel distortion . Could you provide a link to that if its true?

no hooray, what we need is a whitepaper with specifics and/or an IDT.

the concept of log is the abbility to be flexible in post. without a whitepaper or an IDT it's wortless.
