I was excited today when my new Mavic 2 Pro arrived. Then was very let down when I found that I couldn't use my Crystalsky to run my first flight.
Can someone please give me some feedback on an adapter for the Mavic 2?

I need to fly and who wants to fly with a phone when you have a Crystalsky.

The Mavic 1 charging hub is not compatible with the Mavic 2 batts.$$$ downer...

You need more than an adapter  .....  you need to wait for DJI to release an update for the Crystalsky  

I am also waiting for this....

It took 2 or 3 days for DJI to get it activated when the Mavic Air came out.
In another thread a DJI mod said they are working on it.
Hang in there..... just gotta use a phone till then.

I am in the same boat.. I will be using my iPad mini until DJI comes out with an update for my CS..

To my mind DJI would better postpone the Mavic 2 release for some days or weeks more, but when it is announced it should be 100% guaranteed, that new Mavic 2 will work with the existing DJI equipment.
All the relevant firmwares should be updated before the launch.
Otherwise it should be clearly declared, before the launch, with devices would be never supported for Mavic 2

I have a CrystalSky Ultra brite and use it (when I am not updating, refreshing. downgrading, formatting microSD, etc) with Mavic Pro Platinum's RC.  

Bought DJI's metal quick attach / dis-attach mounting bracket.  CrystalSky Ultra brite is rotated 180-degrees and is mounted below Remote Controller.

It isn't as handy as iPhone-5s mounted in RC's wing-clamps, but it is usable.  Use thumbs to control Joysticks, while holding on to CrystalSky and somewhat RC.

I use the 7.85" High Brightness with the Mavic, Inspire, and P4. It's great all the way around.

Great to hear, thanks! Now to just wait for the CS update to actually use it.

Note that the Crystal Sky mount for the Mavic Pro won’t fit the Mavic 2 controller. The same issue with the Mavic Air, the arms have been changed to accommodate the control sticks so the slots are two short.

I ended up getting the polar pro mount which fits. now just patiently waiting for the update

Crystalsky cant support Mavic 2 now

I hope that this time there will be better design of Crystalsky mount than on Mavic  Pro 1 as on Mavic Pro mount was really horrible to mount 7.85 big screen.

I can really recommend you the PolarPro mount for CrystalSky. I got it yesterday and it is fantastic!

yes ub 7.8 and love it. polar pro mount but I need update for m2p

it's for content creators.. product reviewers.. folks that create tutorials.. etc etc..  it's called a stick cam..another camera view..  lots of creative uses for it.   in this case it was purely used to help show that there nothing faked about the CrystalSky working with the Mavic 2..    most people would never want or need it.. but there is a market.. I know because I have sold quite a few of them..

I bought a mav mount3 to use my 7.85 ultra CS with my Mavic air and it worked great.  I just tried the same mount on my mavic 2 Pro and it fits fine.  Don't waste your money on a cheap mount.  The mav mount 3 works great and is high quality mount..  Now if we can just get dji to release the update so we all can use our CS with this great drone

I took my 'new' RC to a machinist friend and he widened the slots slightly, took down a bit of the rubber do-dads that hold the sticks (what a waste of space/I already had a stick protector) and Viola!  The old DJI Crystalsky bracket now fits nicely in the 'new' RC.  Anybody interested, I'll post a couple of pics.

Yes, it is quite good and certainly works well for the 5.5 CS. With the weight of the 7.85 CS it wears over time because the little screws that fix the foldable arms are not strong enough. I am using the Polar Pro mount now and it is excellent.

DJI has released DJI GO 4.3.0 for Crystalsky that should support Mavic 2.
I have upgraded my CS 5.5 but unfortunately, the M2 is not recognized : DJI GO 4 says "not connected".
Precision : the M2P was not mine, so it was not enrolled with the same account as the CS 5.5. May be it cannot work this way ?

Has someone tested it ? what result ?

Did you use the DJI Assistant 2 for Mavic 2 to upgrade all equipment? I just wanted to know before I upgrade? I have a working version manually installed and It's working fine.

DJI Assistant 2 for Mavic may be the trick?
