Yeh, sure.  DJI said, "let's use crappy glue so we can rip off hundreds of angry customers."  It looks like a glue failure.  Other posts on this forum and Mavicpilots.com show that DJI has addressed the issue with the owner.

Nothing wrong with using industrial adhesives to assemble parts.  One of my bikes is a 25 year old Trek with glued aluminum tubes.  It has 10-12,000 miles on it without cracks, separation, or failures.  Of note, "glues" are commonly used to adhere all kinds of dissimilar metals without failure, .... even in aircraft.  (which is the grade of adhesive used in the afformentioned Trek and continues to be used on every thing from titanium to carbon fibre)

Sorry for the trouble. The industrial glue process used for the Mavic Pro is an established technology and is commonly used in the consumer electronics industry, as well as having been previously used in multiple DJI products (such as the Phantom 3 and Mavic Pro ). The gluing process has passed comprehensive and rigorous testing to make sure it matches the high-quality standards that DJI sets to ensure we deliver a safe product that can be used with the utmost confidence. In this scenario, you need to contact our support team to start up a case: (https://www.dji.com/support?site=brandsite&from=nav) and you can provide your case number here if you need further assistance. Just a friendly reminder we don't recommend self repair because it can void your warranty. Thanks for your support and undertanding.

Add some JB Weld and it'll never come off again.
