since the iPhone 6S /7 you are able to view H265 files. Your software can do a precheck like if its better as an iphone 6 you can play those files ....

They should at the very least support H.265 capability checking, as more and more phones and tablets support H.265 (and has for some time), and most of us don't travel with a notebook anymore.

Is this a function of the Mavic firmware or the DJI Go4 app? If it's the app, I'm sure they can add a check on device capability, and even if it's the Mavic, the app can still do a check and request the best video format the device can handle.

I understand your point, the H.265 preview is not supported due to the performance of App. If the plan is available in the future, we'll release on our website at the first time. Appreciate your attention.

To download your H265 videos. The free version does 720P but its enough to see if your flight was good - or to share it with others.

Thank you for your suggestion. Sync for DJI really works fine with H.265.

Also, I found this app very cool cos it also works with Raw (DNG) and 4k video. It's too expencive for PRO version, but it's worth it.
I travel a lot, and for me, it's very important to have a tool to edit my videos directly on iPhone (w/o laptop).

Does that mean that the CS won't be able to playback the H.265 straight from the SD Card?

just saying so far no updates....

i have the mavic 2 zoom and had recorded some videos in h265 which i cannot download on my iphone - im aware why, but i cannot view them on my mac in any video player or edit the video, it shows the file as DJI_0046.MOV.lvix, ive tried .mov converters and they would not recognise the file. can anyone help me and suggest ways of how i can play these videos and edit them. im not using any fancy video editor just imovie.
