I'm with you Joel. One stinking battery! How can I possibly win the championship on one stinking battery!? That's like one deflated football for the Super bowl but I've got to pay for a plane ticket to Australia as well? Ed, fly me out there, give me the three extra batteries I ordered and I'm in like flint!

Games, Let the games begin? I'm not a social butterfly, and do not cater to online social networking sites. So, No facebook, no my space, never Twitter, or any other...
Anyways, I feel like I am already playing a game with DJI. It's called the Waiting Game!
How very embarrassing. So far, I am still zero in hand and zero in the loop.

At least you boys got a Phantom 3 to play with, practice on and ogle.
The extra batteries are already on their way to you, and it's only a matter of short time now, for you lucky guys to receive them.

Getting a second (healthy) shipment of Phantom 3 up here, seems like it was a real chore for DJI.

Ok, well, things are beginning to look up. Somebody heard my pleas...
I just called Great Hobbies and spoke with Wayne. Awesome guy by the way...very knowledgable and a gifted RC Pilot.
They just received 5 Phantom 3 Advanced in Edmonton today, and confirmed that an order of 50 Phantom 3 Professional have been shipped from China.

Ah, what do you know?  Great Hobbles called me back this afternoon, after actually checking the shipping paperwork online.
Those Phantom 3 Pro's are already at customs in Toronto, and expected to ship out Tuesday & arrive here in another week or so, from their Mississauga store.
"It won't be long now!" the Parson said, this shipment takes to get to Alberta, and here to me, is more than fine. I am in for the last and best of the duration.

Hahaha, I finally broke down and smiled today, after that bit of uplifting sobering news.
Ok, that's my daily rant, chant and grant me the serenity...

Enjoy the games, and all the accolades with it!!
There better be plenty of videos, and pics of all the festivities. Perhaps we could even set up regional contests, as well? ;-) State wide and Provincial too.
I will jump for Joy, but no one else, when I take delivery.

I'm in saskatoon and got my P3A on Tuesday through a 3rd party reseller on amazon.ca. Don't know why you're waiting so long ;)

I finally got the much anticipated good news I was waiting, just over one month for... Great Hobbies called me back with some awesome info.
My Phantom 3 Professional is actually already in Toronto, and will likely ship out from their Mississauga location on Tuesday.
So I figure give it another week or less to get trucked out here to sunny Alberta.
The endurance marathon of hope is nearly finished, we can almost smell the lush green Oasis in the distant horizon.

Was the wait worth it? Gosh, I would think so...
All good things, come to those who wait... Patiently.

Sorry I can not compete. I can not seem to get the extra batteries I ordered over a month ago.

l guess the takeaway from all this is, don't pre-order direct. Or from Amazon.
l ordered mine on the evening of the last day of April. Payment was processed May 1st and drone shipped same day. Received here on May 4th (it was a weekend between shipping and receiving).
lt was ordered with an extra battery which showed up at my house yesterday.
Mine was one of the first batch received and l'm early with having a second battery. Lesson learned for any future purchases l might make:  wait to order and use a dealer with stock.

Did you purchase an Advanced or Professional model of Phantom 3?

I could of had an Advanced model already, but changed my order very early, when I realized the benefits of the better camera
and a bit faster charger for the battery/s I intend to purchase, when ever they arrive. There are going to be some exciting and fun times ahead.
Anyway, a months wait, was more than enough for me, and I'm happy the final hurdles are in sight. Summer is for living...

Mine's a Pro. You're going to love it!
For whatever reason there are dealers out here in ON with early stock ready to ship, it was the way to go, l'm happy l fell into it by chance on a google search for dealers.

Funny you should mention weather, we're in the middle of heavy winds and a severe lightning storm warning!

I am so envious of you, I could scream, "Hey, you lucky Man!!"  Yeah, you folks are definitely in the right location, and shopped smart.
Mine should be here I hope, late next week, or by the following Tuesday,  another week won't kill the eager dragon within me.

Oh Well, even if the weathermen won't cooperate for you, we can always use the built in SIM to practice flying with.
I heard some guys complain about the Phantom 3 SIM, But if they have a problem with it, they should go buy a copy of RealFlight 7. ;-)
I still need to buy a smaller tablet than this iPad 3. That smarts a bit. Atleast this new equipment and gear should have a long expiry date.  
Hopefully mine will already be updated when it arrives and ready to fly, aside from charging battery and only flying shortened durations, draining it to 55-60%.
First ten flights. Man I sure hope those extra batteries start to show up here soon, and some more rotor blades  as well.

I will be very happy when it arrives. All though I honestly believe, an awesome new Phantom 4 is just around a near corner...
At the rate DJ releases new product very soon, indeed. I only wish they could prop up the customer service a wee bit,
and perhaps take care of a few of the ongoing issues,  some customers  have experienced. Hopefully the latest software will be a real winner.

If my Phantom 3 is on a truck heading to Alberta,.it should be here any day now...
But the new Phantom 3 app was released only a day or two ago, so I will have to update it, before I fly...

Every day, more guys are proclaiming they are receiving the newly released spare smart batteries, and showing their awesome cases for storing and carrying their drones.
So the volume of DJI products are slowly but surely trickling out to us, the eager public. The big show for me is about to begin too, and it will be another block buster.

Anticipation... Feeling good, about it now.
