I’ve had a look online and there doesn’t seem to be a definitive answer - I’m just wondering if the micro sd card I have below will be sufficient for the Mavic 2 Pro (ofc filming at 10bit 4K)? Also, I’m unsure what the number 1 means on the card shown (in the “U”),, does it refer to the transfer speeds or the actual write speed of the card when recording?

The number in the "U" is the write speed.  I have the same cards I use in my M2P and my OSMO Pro.  I have had no issues writing to this card in 4k on my OSMO.  I will be getting my first video after work on my M2P.

Hi there, thank you for reaching out. Regarding the number that will be the Speed Class-rated of the SD card as you can see on the website here's some of recommended SD card that listed there.

The Mavic 2 writes data at a max speed of 100 Mbps (12.5 MB/s). So, you'll need to make sure you're using a memory card that's able to consistenty write data at 12.5 MB/s or higher.

Your memory card has a max write speed of 45 MB/s. It should be fine for 4K video as long as it's able to consistently write at 12.5+ MB/s.

It will need to be U3 to be able to sustain the write speeds, you may get away with that one, but a yellow triangle will appear next to the camera settings.

I am getting an SD card too slow. Anyone else have this issue? (I have used with mavic air/S9 phone and even formatted inside the drone.)

The v30 is rated at 100MB read 60 Write.

I have a Samsung 64gb Pro u3 rated 90MB read 80MB write.

It even rejected the SD card I use on my P4P.. which works just fine with 4k, 100mbps videos.

Hey DJI, these memory cards are the same spec as the ones you listed in the recommended miniSD cards.. yet there's still problems with them. Any ideas what to do?

Glad I am not the only one with this issue. They cant have 1 brand Sandisk with only the specific V30 model compatible with the Mavic 2.

I was about to order a 3rd sd card but will now wait for more supported cards. (would have been nice to include a 16gb card for double/triple checking).

Yep. The the one I'm using with my Hero 6, Mavic Air and now with Mavic 2 Pro.
