I'm very interested in the new Mavic 2 Pro drone. but I am a little concerned about the bitrate when recording in 4k 10bit D-LogM mode.
according to its spec. it can record 4K in 100mbps top. 100mbps is ok for 8bits 4:2:0 recording, but for 10bits recording, I strongly doubt that the footage is usable for color grading in the post. Has anyone ever tried heavily color graded of 4k 10bit D-LogM files? does it cause color banding issue?

Check You-tube for examples.  Seems fine for all bu the most critical applications.  If setup well why would heavy grading be needed?  After all this is a small drone not a flying GH5 or BMC.

Hi, I was able to clarify this scenario and found out that it should not affect to the color banding. You can make a test and record a DLOG-M video. Thank you for the support.
