Just saw this on ebay, the price to replace this camera one can buy a mavic air or even a Mp if you shop around, to all those that bought this drone fly safely

I have the strong feeling that this is a fake offer. In addition I do not bother because I have of course bought Care Refresh with my M2P, this is exactly what it is there for.

Makes me think twice about flying in Sport mode.

If it was me i would fly with the Gimble cover protecting it all the time

There is already a 200 dollar difference between the zoom version and the pro. So i would think that the zoom camera alone, could be around 400 dollars to replace. So make some sense to me.  And it seems as if you do get 4 screws and a gimbal protector with the deal...

Are you going to get the MP2, I was looking at the prices around here and it is like 10k more then what Dji is selling it for. To me for now just not worth that amount to invest unless i can sell my P4 and fill the diff

Nope. I will fly my Air for now. They would think me crazy to spend so much on a new DJI drone, if the previous new one,s problems is not sorted out yet.

Just to show. The phantom 4 replacement camera, so heck yes, i think that replacement price is very possible.
I would probably wait before i sell my P4, if i had one, see if any problems pop up, like with the Air.

I can only tell you the rates for my country just copied from the service agreement that I received on Monday. The first time replacement fee is EUR 119, the second time replacement fee is EUR 139.
In USD this corresponds to 139$ for the first and 163$ for the second full replacement of Mavic 2 (both types).

I wonder if you can replace just the gimbal and not the entire camera/gimbal assembly. I crashed my old Mavic Pro and broke the gimbal, so they replaced the whole camera too because its all one unit. That makes sense for a cheep camera, but now different story.

Hi there, thank you for sharing. Regarding that I would highly suggest to if ever you will need a replacement Camera, Will suggest that have it to Official DJI so that you don't have to worry about it and for the Peace of mind as well.
