What's the lead time on shipping now that it's been fully launched?

I joined the DJI Select program and got priority shipping. Bought Sunday evening and it just delivered this morning. Dunno about non-select orders.

I'm glad I didn't know of this, i might have been tempted to order from Apple. It would have cost me an additional $96USD in taxes plus the shipping cost.

Ordering directly from DJI I incurred no taxes and free shipping!

I'm not a select member but I had a priority shipping code, ordered 2 days ago and still not shipped, I suspect demand might be running over supply...

I had the priority shipping code from taking that quiz on their website.  Not sure if it made a difference.  I ordered Monday morning and got it Thursday morning, exactly 3 days from China to Maine.

Jeez that's quick mate!

Looks like I'm going to have to cancel my order, it's still waiting to be shipped after 3 days no movement. I'm not going to be here to receive it so no point in having it sit on the porch for a few weeks.

Tried to ask them to allow me to use the express shipping code later but they can't do anything about it. Seems like i'm out of luck on this order.

Mine took a week after ordering to ship.  And i'd guess another 3-5 days in transit.

I'm only a bit eager because I have to travel. otherwise I'd ride it out. I asked yesterday for an update because I was getting a bit nervous and they said it's next out, but when next is they couldn't answer.

I need to book flights for immediately after it arrives.  Their "3-5 day" claim simple wasnt true.

Funny enough I'm heading to the UK, if they didn't charge crazy duty I'd have them change the shipping

Apparently it's in the post now. Shipped from Shenzhen China via DHL with a tracking number...fingers crossed it gets here soon!

Mine shipped on 30th and as of today (2/9) still on "Departed Shenzhen" with DHL.
Its not exactly express shipping.

I hope you'll get an update tomorrow. There always is a black hole between departure from Shenzhen until customs clearance is completed in East Midlands because it is a bulk shipment. Only after customs clearance the palettes get taken apart and the individual shipments scanned for the further transport. At that moment you will get an update on your waybill. Here you can see the so called ''mother waybill'' for the shipment with my parcel and all the details. My individual waybill so far only shows until departure from Shenzhen as it is the case for yours. As you had probably read already, my shipment is stuck in customs since Thursday morning and at the earliest tomorrow things will hopefully move on.

Mine looks exactly like your's. DHL has kindly shared the mother waybill with me. If you don't get an update tomorrow you could call them and ask about status.

No update this morning either so asked DHL.  But they want the dimensions, weight and type of packaging. All details that i clearly dont know!

Oh f***... I just ordered from DigitalRev Store because they said it ships within 24hours.

Right after my order it went to 48 hours, delivery date estimated 8-11 September, and I leave for Iceland september 10... The M2Pro costs more on digitalrev but I didn't mind because of the 24hours shipment.

And now Apple has it and ships the same day RIP

I'm willing to bet you receive your package in less than a week but more than a few days. DJI has been juggling the supply chain lots better this time than for the original Mavic release. They have lots of dealers and channels to please but also have made more aircraft to cope with the big demand.

Nevermind, I cancelled my order from DigitalRev ! I accepted the extra 100€ because of the 24hours shipment, and it changed after my order...

Just ordered from Apple, ships today, mavic arrives tomorrow ! I'm happy

Hmm, interesting story from a supply chain management perspective. Big boys win. You should have ordered from the DJI store. They are the ones who keep the fly more package to give themselves a leg up over their distributors.

For those of us outside the US,  ordered from DJI store on release day, a large number still haven;t received the package.

Meanwhile people ordering off DigitalRev  on Friday have received their package today (monday) and saved near $160 in doing so.

Outside the US it looks like people would have been far better off ordering off a reseller -  they're getting it far quicker than from DJI itself.

I live in Belgium. DJI Store said 3-5 days for delivery of the M2Pro. 5-8 days for the Fly More kit.

Through Apple, I'll get my M2P tomorrow and for the same price.
Digitel Rev was 100€ more expensive, with no guarantee I'll get it before Iceland.

Big boys win indeed ! Now I need to check for additionnal batteries, they're out of stock on DJI Store :/

I have opened an investigation into the whereabouts of your shipment in China.

From DHL for the 31/8 china blackhole shipments at least.  My guess is stuck in customs exactly as last weeks lot.

Buy the Fly More kit.DJI will keep those in stock in the parent store.

The redesigned bag is very functional now and the multi-charger is worth getting if you fly. The little USB adapter allows you to charge your other devices using the Mavic battery.
BTW: DJI digests all criticisms and they learn and modify their behavior if it makes better business sense. I've been their customer since 2013 and the rate this company learns and adapts is breath-taking. They started from the ground remember.

Local government issue.

For Singapore, DJI delayed shipment one week for even first day customers like myself but when they did ship, delivery was within 24h of shipping out of Shenzhen.

Its a UK customs issue apparently.  They just called.  Pallet arrive 31/8 as intended and its sat there since then. Customs haven't broken it down or processed.
They anticipate "today or tomorrow" for that break down.

(And yes DJI delayed shipment near a week for me as well, ordered launch day).

Yeah but their kit is way, way more expensive :/

Main priority was getting the drone, and I didn't mind the extra 100€ for the M2 before cancelling and going for Apple.

But 160€ more for the kit compared to DJI is way too much to my taste. Thanks for the info tho !

Its odd, DR works out 120 euros cheaper for drone and 40 euros cheaper for flymore in the UK than DJI or anyone else.

I'd have SAVED 160 euros ordering the stuff from then than DJI.

(and i'd actually have had it by now)

I ordered a Mavic Zoom and the DHL website says "The shipment is pending completion of customs inspection". Do you know how long it can take ?

Mine is still stuck in Shenzhen...but I've got DHL tracking now so fingers crossed!

To the UK the drone is 1330 euro and the fly more 321 euro.

Thats a massive massive difference!
