Hi.
I have followed your youtube video, installed the audio software, and Helix 5 (and 6.)
The Pv2+ Rc controller works great under Windows 7. Funny idea to use the sound frequencies to drive a controller.  Analog system ,like our old 33 or 45 rpm discs.

Thank you for sharing this great feature.
I suppose the demo version of Helix is enough for me.

The problem with this thread is that there are people commenting on multiple software to achieve multiple variations of connectivity to Flight Simulation.

The above link is for 'Wired' application. This uses the Trainer Port on the NEWEST remote controller for the Phantom - the Version 3.0. You will know if you have the NEWER version 3.0, if you have the 4 lights at the power button and the upper left hand finger dial for the camera tilt. If you don't have these features, you probably won't be able to use the 'Wired' (Trainer Port) flight sim. Some people might be confusing the Micro USB port on the front of the controller, (old version 2.0) as the Trainer Port. It is not.

I have the old version and therefore, I have ruled out using the 'Wired' approach. However, I am still curious about the transmitter approach. According to what I have read AND what makes perfectly logical sense to me - Real Flight 7.5 offers a USB (receiver) that plugs unto your computer and listens to your radio controller. No more wires or trainer port.

This option would allow you to turn on your DJI Controller (regardless of version) and be able to set it up to communicate with USB receiver in the computer and the Real Flight 7.5 Flight Sim software would then see your controller. Makes sense to me.

However, in all of the threads that I have read here, no one seems to answer that question - Does Real Flight 7.5 work with the Phantom Controller(s) or is it ALSO limited to a specific controller version? I'm sure that - depending on the controller you are using, there could be a need to MAP the sticks and I would think that this ability would be incorporated into the Real Flight 7.5 software.

I just hate to purchase Real Flight 7.5 and find that it will not work.

I bought a P2VP 3.O I did not receive a cord for simulator or neck strap,? Must have forgotten to include these 2 years ago. To my understanding it was to be used as a flight simulator up to a computer as I read all the postings evidently not or not without going through a few other processes
