Hi there, thank you for reaching out and we're very sorry for the Inconvenience that you have faced. Regarding that, I would suggest giving a try to update the firmware using DJI Assistant 2 in your PC you can check this video tutorial on how to do it.
Try to do it via DJI+Assistant+2+For+Mavic+2.0.0 on your laptop/computer. You can download the software in the service section. After installing and starting the program connect the M2 with USB C cable and proceed with update.

That did the trick for the M2 however, the RC part was a failure. When connecting the RC it immediately goes into charging mode.
