Does the DJI Mavic 2 Pro really fly for 31 minutes? In this video I do (https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC9PycnkleNM93xCRl_ZsIjA) a  flight time test comparison with the Mavic Pro Platinum and Mavic Air.  See who comes out on top.  Note: DJIs tests are in controlled environments and the 31 minutes  Flight Time are also with the drone moving forward at 25 kph. My flight  tests are based off of real world time tests I normally take. 30% is  when I have bring my drone back near my home point location and 20% is  when I land. All tests will vary so please take this video as an idea of  rough Flight times achieved by these drones.

Hi there, thank you for reaching. Regarding the flight time, Yes it may still vary with the environments in the area especially with the wind. The flight time that being stated would be just an estimation on the control environment when testing it to fly. But by the way thanks for providing of the video for additional Idea.

I think the most time you can squeeze out of Mavic 2 would be 25 maybe 26 minutes, to the 23 from the test you need to add 2/3 minutes because the battery level was at 21% when landed.
Also if you fly not fast rather than stand still, the battery consumption is less when flying.

Wait for it... DJI Natalie is DJI Cindy or one of their other BS memes is going to respond and ask what's wrong with our Mavic. They don't even read the post. All they do is paste in the canned response like they give a beep. Wake up folks. Demand honesty or don't give them your hard earned cash.

Yes the result look a bit strange for Mavic 2. It have to be more convincing difference with Mavic 1

Of course flight times vary you DA!!. We want to see the proof that 31 minutes is even possible. Show us the video otherwise DJI is lying.You claim 31 min. Not 29, not 26 so put up the video and prove to us that DJI is a reputable company.

I'm sure there is no video like that.
They have not even tested that.
It is simple math based on battery capacity and energy consumption.

Nobody flies all the way down to 0% and the drone does not even allow for that.
Also you need some forward motion to get the maximum flight time, so hovering will never get you close to the max time.
They just do a random number of test flights in a controlled environment (indoors) and calculate what the energy consumption is based on the average.
It is just and indication and for all I can tell, my MP gets pretty close to the advertised flight time.
I get about 21 minutes if I make a 'normal' flight (not too much hovering, little wind and normal flying) and stop at about 25% battery so that is very close to 27 minutes.
