Does Mavic 2 Pro descents in Active Tracking (follow) mode ?
For example when you skiing ?
Active Tracking 1.0 couldn't descent.

P.S. I see everywhere skiers in Active Tracking 2.0 manual etc. so it should descent too

I saw this review. Not super ideal, but much better that 1.0 version

Yes I watched that video was good example showing active track 2.0 but it was not showing the M2 decreasing in height. As per the original post we need to know can active track follow someone skiing while they descend a hill and will the drone also descend in height or will it stay at the starting height, I know you can change the height using the controller but we want the Active track 2.0 to do this automatically

Exactly I remember that with MP1 there was answer on that, that it didn't had all sensors.
But MP2 full of sensors so this not need to be a problem

Ah, You need maybe a "Terrain Follow" mode, not sure if that's an option in M2.

Yes thats what it needs I'm sure that the M1 could do that going uphill though I'm hoping the M2 can cope with this going down hill Active Track 2.0 does seem to be a huge leap forwards in the way it works so here's hoping , as you said maybe a Firmware update so that "Terrain Mode" would work

I read a reply on another thread from a DJI official and said it would follow a skier downhill, there were some exceptions but can't remember. Sorry, can't remember which thread.
