Hi Guys,

Have not been able to charge the remote after updating the firmware and the app no longer connects to the drone. All this worked fine before the update but now I don't know what to do.

Am using the Galaxy Note 9 running Android 8.1

Any thoughts?

Hi, I used the adaptor and the cable provided and nothing happens when connecting the remote to Assistant 2, now down to 16% battery. I was able to factory reset the drone but nothing with the remote.

Any other assistance?

Do you have a different cable to use so that we can isolate the issue?

I tried a Micro USB cable into the side port with nil success

What do you see on the remote controller screen when you power it on?

Did you connect the cable to the port on the left of the remote controller to your computer before powering on the remote controller? It won't connect to the DJI Assistant 2 application if you connect the cable after the remote controller has been powered on.

Yeah I connected it to the port on the left side before powering it on with no luck.

It just says connecting on the screen when it is turned on.

Does your Galaxy Note 9 connect if you use the bottom USB port on the remote controller?

It did prior to the firmware update but not after

Hi. Can you try to reinstall the app and restart the PC?

Also, make sure you download the DJI Assistant 2 installer here:
https://www.dji.com/mavic-2/info#downloads

The installer at the link @DJI Wanda shared above is not compatible with the Mavic 2.

Hi,
Uninstalled the Assistant app and again have had nil luck connecting the remote to the app. Again I tried connecting in to the phone from the bottom usb port and continually get a failed attempt.

It appears that it is not recognising any cable and the battery is at 8% now.
