I'm curious in knowing the maximum distance any of you have reached with your P3A, being in the UK I'm somewhat limited (legally) on how far I can fly (the law limits a maimum alltitude of 400ft / 120m and the drone must stay in sight at all times). I've taken my P3A out to around the 700m mark before making the return.

FCC konform: 5 km CE konform: 3,5 km (DJI specification) But prctically it´s dependent from the flight environment.

It is totally dependent on your environment. I have had my P3A out over 3-miles (+20,000 ft), and yes it is out of sight, can't claim I can still see it, but that is over water and absolutely nothing to block or interfere with the signal. Your 700 meters is barely 1/2 mile. You should be able to go at least a mile or so in the right terrain. Make sure you go to your max legal height and not around trees or mountains. I understand you can't legally fly past what you can see, but the P3A can do it even with stock antennas.

I have gone 0.85 miles (4500 ft, 1500 m) more than once while always under FPV control (but clearly out of visual contact).  I went 1.25 miles on a Litchi "mission" with no problem except the fear of losing my P3A during the time i was out of contact with it.  Looking though trees i can not go more than 1/2 mile. I always use a reflective range enhancer.  

I flew my p3p 17,000 feet in one direction. 5181.6 meters, 400 feet. I had full bars but also used a reflective range booster. It was at a farm field with no interference for 5 mile radius.
