The Carrybag that comes with the Fly more kit is great for portability. However, I Do prefer a hard case.

When I fly, I like to park up, open the boot.  Pull out my deck chair. Open the case ect ect.

Needs space for drone, controller, 3 batteries, crystalsky 7, monitor battery x 2, and a space for a few spare props and bits and pieces. I do like all my bits in one place.

Its early days yet and I've only see a few so far, but if you come across something decent pop a link here please.

I always use MC-Cases. They are still working on the one for Mavic 2, but here you can get an idea of what they offer: https://mc-cases.com/

I have several cases but the last few I purchased had removable sections. I'm including a link to the one I have for the Mavic. These are some of the best cases I have ever used and you can actually use them for other things beside a drone. Love the latches. They are the best out there and no..I'm not selling them. Just an honest observation. If anyone is interested I can upload a picture of my configuration.

Exactly my thoughts.

Looks like a nice case but who knows.

I got this from Harbor Freight and it holds everything easily.  They make smaller cases too.  The price is definitely right!

I will get these when they cone out. Use a similar one for my Mavic Pro and it is nice that I can just toss them in the normal backpack I already use.

Speaking from experience they (MC Cases) make high quality cases which are die cut from foam block and not layered foam, so there are no glue lines. I have 4 of them all are well thought out and well made. Not the cheapest, wouldn't use anything else.

I always get goprofessional cases for my DJI drones. I'm sure any hard case will do. However, I did not pre-order the one for Mavic 2 from GPC because I'm waiting for DJI.to release the RC with built-in 5"5 screen. GPC themselves said they are going to update their Mavic 2 hard case to accommodate the new RC soon.

First class case. I have the HPRC for the Inspire 1 Pro and they are well built and thought out. These are in the same class.

Does the DJI case have any space to store tablets? Any pockets in the lid, etc?

I was wondering the same thing.  But it does not look like it although their photos are really limited.  But the space under the drone goes pretty deep and so probably no room under.

I have had the P4Pro version of this Case Club case, and it has been and still is rock solid!!  Very similar construction to GPC.

Sometimes function, quality AND price come together.

Nice topic. I like a lot of the options posted here. I am also in the market for a HC, and leaning towards a GPC/MC-case. Black and red are my colors of choice, so probably more on the MC-Case style. Thanks for kicking that off

Mavic 2 Case

So the latches hold up well?  I see in one of the images that it can hold spare propellers.  I've got a mavmount for my tablet and wondering if there's room to shove/squeeze that in there somewhere?  And you place a phone or tab under the top lid?  I have been looking at the GPC case but having trouble justifying the cost.  Then, I also look at the Lowepro backback which could free up hands but is not a hard case.  Decisions, decisions...

Yes,  I have had the P4Pro  Case Club Case since the bird was new.  I have about 190-200 flights.  That's alot of opening and closing, not counting opening for updates, and charging batteries, tablet and RC.

Keep in mind,  the P4Pro unit is MUCH larger than for the Mavic 2 series.
One more thing,  the rubber seal......is still perfect!!  I can hear the air suck in or push out till the latches click shut!!

You can design your own to fit whatever you want at Mycasebuilder.com.
Here's mine. I like to keep the bird unfolded. Quicker launch and less wear and tear on moving parts.
Alsao holds my RC WITH CrystalSky attached.

To be honest lack of tablet storage is a deal breaker for me... I really don't want to be carrying something as fragile as an ipad around in a pocket or whatever. Carrying a separate case just for a tablet also negates the whole point of an all-in-one solution.
I'm waiting to see what Peli UK come up with in the new year - I emailed them and they say something is in the works. I did suggest adding a space in the lid for tablet storage. Their M1 case looked very good.

The Case Club offering does look good, but I can't comment on the quality of the case itself. I have a genuine Pelican Storm case for my Mavic 1, and I absolutely swear by it: that thing is REALLY durable.
