I can pretty much guarantee that nobody is gonna beat this distance.  over 24,000 ft.  One way!  Landed wth 3% battery.  

Damn!  Impressive!!  That's nearly 8km!  I don't think I'd be game enough to try even half that distance with mine lol!!  Did you have full control AND live video feed over the entire distance??

Now that is quite impressive. Was the P3 compleatly stock? Also now was the video downloank at that kind of distance.

Remember to buy extra propellers and one or two spare batteries to keep you flying

Yes, completely stock.  Video cut out a little towards 24, 000 ft.

If anyone beats it, they are falling out of the sky.  I landed at 3% battery.  And this thing will shut off before it gets to 0%.  I've had it shut off at 3% before when I was a couple feet off the ground.

Extremely impressed! That's damned near double the 4.77 miles I got out of my P2v3 with 8% battery left! Haven't tried it with my P3 yet. Don't think I'll beat that, I think I'll jut concede now. Pretty cool!

How is that even possible?  I flew straight out from my house today and barely got a mile before things started to shut down. Do you live in some sort of DJI vortex?

I don't know.  But I can do it over and over again.  I regularly fly 15,000 ft. away.  I'm just going straight over an open field pretty much.  I'm sure that helps.

You need a pat on the back and ...probably $150 for a new battery; LiPo's hate going down that far, and often can't be brought back. Good luck with that part, too.
