I'm pretty sure this will get released then they will fix the CrystalSky compatibility. I for one will be getting this when it's available.

I just wish DJI will release kind of universal remote controller with screen for all drones, depends on each type drone so it will automatically adjust for correct connection. I will defenitely go for pro on next update, remote controller with screen is on demand list of mine when my dji go crashed several times and i have to fly home blindly

Why wait for that when you can already waste £700 on a DJI Crystalsky ?

I'm about to possibly order the M2P, but I want to wait a few more days to know more of issues and questions being raised by the community,  in order to have a better feeling what I'm going to buy
In addition it would be good to avoid buying the M2P with the standard controller and 2-3 weeks later you can buy this new controller with integrated display which would be of interest -> I'd like to save money and buy it with the this new RC if possible (what should I do with the standard RC)

I don't want to attach the display or phone every time, I don't like it as it takes time...both solutions have its pros and cons

I think the M2P will come with the standard controller nevertheless as a standard package.

Is there a way to mark a DJI moderator somehow within our text/replies so that they get notified about a specific topic/thread? like "@nickname" or so?
Maybe they have seen this conversation already but don't want to comment or are not allowed

With increasing number of different pictures (but showing the same device) leaked in many places, I tend to take it for granted that this new controller is coming indeed. I also have no doubt that many people will like it because it would once and forever solve all the issues of differences between iOS and Android and compatibility problems with the huge variety of the latter. Nevertheless I shall never regret the purchase of my 7.85 CrystalSky HB and shall use it for hopefully a long time to come instead of any smaller screen. But that is just my personal choice.

Yes, it’s the new controller with an integrated screen, that DJI is releasing soon.
Let’s hope that it won’t have software issues.
Although I’m happy with my iPad air2 at the moment + it’s screen is bigger.

The question is, when is soon? When will it be released?
Will the package be changed so you can buy the drone with this new RC or you have to buy the drone with the standard RC anyhow first?

I think it will be sold as an extra, just like crystal sky.

I don't think it's possible that M2 will come repackaged with a new controller, it's not realistic! They will probably make it available as an upgrade like they do with the goggles or the fly more kit.

I would love the HDMI output, imagine putting a widescreen tv so you can show people exactly what you are doing, or you are sitting behind the tv and have a huge screen. It would also stop the hassle from putting your phone in and out. Just hoping it would be compatible with the Mavic 1

But then we would have 2 controllers and Crystal is just a screen so maybe it will be upgraded package option  , but who knows.
