I am trying to remove the filter (the clear one that it comes with) from the M2P camera but it will not budge.  I watched a video where he shows removing it counter clock wise.  Can anyone confirm this?  Has anyone else removed their's and was it really stiff at first?

Hi. Thanks for reaching DJI Forum. You need to hold your gimbal and you'll need to twist counterclockwise to loosen the lens. Thanks.

I got it off but it was really stiff.  I had to apply a lot of force while trying not to put force on the gimbal in any axis.  Very stiff to get back on too.

Hi, sorry for the inconvenience. I would suggest holding strong your gimbal so it will not damage while applying force to remove the filter. Thank you.

I don't think it turns, I think it snaps straight on and off. Give it a gentle pry.(Be very gentle, as I've never done this myself so there is a slight chance I'm wrong, I doubt that I could be wrong though because I'm usually right about stuff, but there is that small chance

In the video it clearly shows that it needs to be rotated as there are 4 keyhole slots that the pins of the bezel engage into.

If it came off easily, it would likely end up missing.....

It should be easier to remove if you push the filter toward the front of the camera before starting to twist it.

Thank you very much for sharing this! I just wonder how this guy got hold of ND filters for the M2P so quickly...

He is one of those guys that had an advance copy sent to him before release.
DJI must have sent him the filters along with the drone.
