The go app version is different...... and its not full screen on the 7 plus

Full screen is set to video, cropped is set to camera. They capture at different resolutions.

on iphone 7 probably video set to 4:3 resolution

On iphone 6 probably set to 16:9 resolution

Check your video/photo preferences

The 16::9 video is image from centre  section of the full sized 4:3 chip (as used for stills). This can display full screen on you 16:9 display. Whereas the 4:3 has to be displayed as it is to preserve the aspect ratio and allow you to see the full image.
