Thanks!
It is some work, but not too difficult.Simple version:
Taking the shot:
1. Put drone in portrait mode
2. Set it to full manual.
3. Set the exposure right for the brighest part of the 360
4. Start taking pictures, rotate the drone a bit between the shots with the left stick. (make sure you have at least 1/3 overlap)
5. Be quick since the world changes and you want as little 'ghosting' as possible, but wait for the drone to stop moving.
Editing the shot:
I use Autopano Giga, but there will be other software that can do this.
1. Add the pictures to your panorama list.
2. Let Autopano create a panorama
3. Edit the panorama and change the 'projection settings' to 'Little planet'.
4. Disable the color correction
5. Render the panorama.
6. Now you will see a hole in the middle and some rough edges. I use Affinity Photo to make those nice and round.
Advanced version:
Taking the shot:
The same as the simple version, except you set the drone to AEB 5 exposures.
Editing the shot:
I use Affinity Photo for HDR merging the 5 exposures and have made some presets that I like a lot.
Autopano Giga can also work with stacks, but I find that this method gives better results.
1. HDR merge all the stacks you made and make sure you use the same settings on all the stacks (you can save them as a template in Affinity Photo)
2. Now follow the same steps as the simple version
