Map issue on CS

Hi Guys, and anybody at DJI!
We are wildlife filmakers and fly an inspire 2 on CS ultra.
Since the latest update on the CS the map doesn't work at all.
Black screen all the time no matter what. (most of the time we work out of any network range).It was one of the most useful tool for us in filmmaking, as we could do the 'same' shot back and forth.
Any idea, solution?
(Backup and reset, and start this update-nonsense again?)
Fast answer would be nice as we are on location and try to shoot.

We're experiencing the same issue even after caching maps. The only time maps work is with an active wifi connection

Sorry DJI Wanda but how can I downgrade the DJIGO4 app on the Crystalsky monitor via the assistant?I thought the assistant is for the inspire2 and not for the periferic.
I have problems with the CS and the GO4 app on the CS, not with the inspire2!The CS has a backup and reset function as I mentioned above. Is this the way?

I see. Apologies for the confusion. Did you try to backup and reset the CrystalSky under the general settings?

I did not try it as I mentioned above!
I wanted to know if this is the only solution.
As we are on location and shooting, I am a little bit affraid
of this hard reset solution as I had many bad experience
before with the GO4 app on the CS.
I really do not want to get into a situation where I end up with a system operating much worse then before.

I understand that this is important to you. But we have to try to reset it first to know if it will work since we're performing a troubleshooting here.

Sorry about the late answer.
I still did not dare to try that. I was waiting for the new updates.
Update did not help.
As the map stopped working on our second CSU also (we fly two pilots), I think finally have to try that hard reset.
But as you pointed out maybe it is pointless.

The CS goes back to the factory software and you have to update the CS and also update the
DJI Go4 app? ...and what does this backup option do? It backs up what?

This is what works for me. You have to first sellect in GO 4 the 2D map only, not the satelite maps. Then close the GO4 and reopen again. The maps should be there. This also works with the off line maps downloaded into CS.

There was a gap in our shooting so haven't checked my account for a while!
Your method works (between the four walls)!
Next week we will be on location again so i can try the method sharp.
Hope our misery will come to an end!

Epilogue:
The latest updates on DJI GO 4, on the inspire 2 (only out around two weeks) on the gimbal and on the controllers solved our maps problem (and also the quick manual infinity focus problem - see other post).
It has been more than three month waiting with no real help and adwise from DJI.
Sadly the most obvious solution only jumped in my mind recently. DOWNGRADE.
