I was flying my Spark today and suddently when I was 3-4 minutes into our flight, a message saying "Compas error" occured on the screen and the Spark tumbled and landed in the grass.

Luckily I was only 5-10 feet up so nothing happend with the drone.

After that, the top left area of the app that normally is green, showed "cannot takeoff" and red background.

We tried flying the drone again, and had no further issues.

But - situations like this, makes me not sleep well at night.

Is there any was we can find out exactly what/why it happend ? Analyzing the flight logs ?

it was my son flying, but yes I am almost 100% sure that it was in Sports mode.

Why ?

Alex, for some reason are 2 of my Flightlogs from yesterday missing!

I have 7 videos from yesterday, but only 5 logs - and the log I am looking for is one of those missing.

Thats just not good enough, DJI.

(as a sidenote, all images from yesterday never showed up in DJI app - only videos, not sure if that is related - its my first flight since the latest DJI Go 4 app update ...)

Why ?

I don't really know, but to me its a bit too much of a coincidence that many of the flyaway victims (which posted detailed flight data) were flying in Sport mode or switching between P-GPS and Sport inflight.
I personally never fly in sports mode because of that, and never had a single compass disconnect or ATTI drop.
