So I flew my drone this weekend and when I flew the drone back to where a was at the end of the flight I put another battery in to download my forage and as I was downloading footage onto my phone I realized that the drone had a small hairline crack in the shell. Any suggestions on what to do I’m worried that this will affect the performance of my drone?

I’m pretty sure I have a defective drone though because since purchase the video feed has been super laggy even at 2 feet away but then my friend got the same drone and can go a mile without any lag whatsoever

The Spark is built like a tank - it must have taken a serious knock to get a crack like that and if it’s not performing correctly I would send it back.

The drone has only ever been crashed once and that was back when I first got it

Depends on device you are using, if android, video lag seems to be vorse..2-4 sexonds ..on my iphone i get maybe 1-15 sec at mlst when far away..
Bit if tou say your friend has a drone just like it, then let him try yours with hos setup, an easy way og checking... And with that crack on top, i think dji just say user error and want money to check, and maybe fix yours..
Another thing that might help with video lag is to use OTG cable between rc and phone

Nothing a bit of tape can't fix...  As long as it doesn't get larger..  Looks minor..  WAR WOUNDS

Just use a bit (not too much) of superglue to seal it up. It should work fine, but it's nothing to worry about.

Maybe just change the cover
I thinks it didn't damage the drone

Looks like just a cosmetic crack, you can pop it off and probably super glue the underside and call it a day.
