I did some performance tests with the internal memory and the microSD card mentioned above.
I inserted the microSD card into the Mavic 2 Pro microSD card slot and connected the Mavic 2 Pro to my Mac Pro via USB 3 cable.
As benchmark software, I used DiskMark v2.1 (Apple Store).

If it wouldn't be necessary to run this test with a battery packed and powered on Mavic 2, then I would spend more time testing the internal and external memory.

I'm getting the same "Slow SD Card" error. I have brand new Sandisk  100mbps Class U1 A1 UHS-1 Card. I purchased it from Amazon Prime "Amazon's Choice" verified sold by Sandisk seller.  So I am confident my card is not a knock off. Hopefully DJI is investigating this issue. I'm hoping it can be addressed in an update.

And I'm not sure if I am correct or not, but it is my understanding that even if you used an expensive high bandwidth UHS-II card, it is going to pair down to the interface of UHS-1 that the drone has, So that might not fix the issue either.

Yeah, I've been looking into this most of the day. I think I confused the UHS-1 and U1 as being the same thing. So I just ordered a UHS-1 U3 Card. Thanks for the reply.

I have to correct myself. The exFAT formatted microSD storage is 253.3GB.

Thanks for posting that the 256gb Is a supported capacity. Have you tried to use all 256g on it yet.

Also thanks for all your subsequent performance stats. Most helpful.

Cheers

Yes. You can find some other memory cards that'll work well here:

Hi there, thank you for reaching out. Regarding your question, all the Sd card that you listed will be supported as long as you have the branded SD card and class 10, UHS-1 or Higher would be fine then.

class 10, UHS-1 card do NOT work in a Mavic 2 Pro. They need to be at least UHS Grade 3 or V30. We have been doing some testing and with our Class 10 card in DJI Go 4 we were getting a message saying SD card to slow.

I can confirm that Sasmung 128GB  U3 MC128GA/EU works perfectly on the Mavic 2 Pro, got a Sandisk 64GB Extreme Pro U3 V30 for the same price as a samsung 128GB.

I think the main discrepancy is that there is a typo on the website: https://www.dji.com/mavic-2/info#specs
Instead of saying "up to" it should say "at least."
Anything BELOW UHS speed class 3 or Video Speed Class 30 will produce the SD card is too slow message

This is the message that you will get if your card is too slow.

Using this same 128GB card I have no issues with 4k 30fps or 2k 60fps but it shows slow sdcard when I tried 1080p 120fps. The footage resulted to 30fps instead of 120fps. Can you help to verify this?

It's working perfectly on my side, tested with all resolutions at high and low frame rates.

Just got myself 2 x 256 GB from Amazon, going for $64USD, they are working very. tested all resolutions.
These are great for regular AEB photos and 4K recording, as I tend to record in 2.7K

I read that some do mix up the different terms on the sd cards:
UHS: there are for now 2 - UHSI and UHSII, for mavic owner it is enough to buy UHSI, due up to Mavic2 you do not get any advantages, but pay more for nothing.
U: that is very important to look for. This is the LOWEST WRITE SPEED the manufcturer "guarantees" MA & M2P/M2Z/M2E must have U3-card, while for MP/MPP is U1 enough (MP/MPP video out is "only" 60Mb vs 100Mb for the anothers) U3 lowest write speed is 30MB (=240Mb - for M2P or MA) or U1 lowest write speed  is 10MB (=80Mb - OK for MP/MPP)
There are new terms :
V30/V60/V90: These are good to know and also correspond to lowest write speed V30=30MB, V60=60MB.... (v for video)
A1 and A2: A for aplication - not important for Mavic owners.

MB is NOT equal with Mb!!
10MB = 80Mb so read carful.
UHSI is not U1

Do not bee fooled by advertizement " speed up to" It is the lowest write speed that matters, not "up to".

I take my drone on holidays and like to have many cards, that way I never have to worry about running out of memory. It's also a good idea to change cards often, rather than flying around with lots of data in the case of losing your drone. I have 3 types of cards.
This card is the best bang for your buck. A great all-round card and actually, I have 6 of them:
SanDisk Extreme 32GB microSDHC UHS-I Card - SDSQXAF-032G-GN6MA [Newest Version] https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B06XWMQ ... p_tai_zGeJBbXP9PPKX

I just got the Lexar 1800x Micro sdxcII 128GBU3. Im getting a "slow SD card" error. Suggerstions?

Anyone tried Samsung EVO select (sold by amazon) with Mavic 2 pro? Those cards are sold with a deal these days.

I have used a Samsung EVO Plus 64GB and 128GB in my M2P and it's fine, even in 4k
