Sometimes, when I have to make some adjestment on the drone while at home, I insert a 100% charged battery and after the fiddling with settings its maybe down to 80%

Sp my questions are :

1) When I add a 80% charged battery to the charger, does it just charge from 80% -> 100% or does it discharge it first ?
2) Is is okay to charge batteries that are not all drained down to 10-15% or less, or would you prefer to use as much power as possible before you charge them ?

Its just out of curiosity ....

When recharging batteries, they do not discharge first. In your example above, the battery would charge from 80% to 100%.

It's okay to recharge the batteries from any charge level. They do not need to be fully drained before recharging them.

While it's okay to recharge batteries from the 10-15% level, you wouldn't want to store them for long periods of time at that charge level. Check out this thread for tips on maintaining and storing your DJI batteries.

Hi, Thanks for the inquiry. For the first question, the battery will charge 80% up to 100% and it will not discharge your battery first, however, regarding the second question you can charge your battery regardless of the remaining power level of it. Please see our documents for you to take care of your batteries.

I have a question.
If you recharge the battery from 80 to 100%, does it go up by 1 the number of times that the battery was charged or not?
The times it was charged that you see in battery options in the app.
Thanks.

Fly safely.

I would assume they charge from the point they are...  Why would they waste the energy in them already..   Like your phone battery for example continues at the percentage it is at already..

1 Battery cycle is calculated by one full charge from empty...  Therefore 80-100% would not be a full cycle it would be a fraction..

Hi, Thanks for your inquiry. You mean if you charged the battery on 80% to 100% does it make a count on the times of charged? Please let us know for further clarification.

I tested it, and charging from 80% to 100% does not add a count on times charged.
