Hi, i have a mavic air and as the gimbal can't look up a lot of the sky is missing.

Does the pro 2 use the new possibility to look up (up to 30° i think) in the panorama mode ?

It doesnt.  Sadly so far it only does about 15 degrees, LESS than mavic pro.  And fills in the missing sky with a fairly bad special effect if you use auto jpg.

Thanks would be very great, even if we see the rotors a little bit as it's easy to remove them when stitching the pano

has an example from today.  It produces 26 DNGs (vs Mavic 1s 34) and doesnt point up any near as much despite the gimbal being capable of it.
The result is far more sky stretching is needed so it doesnt look anywhere near as nice.

Should be able to see the small amount of sky provided vs mavic1.  Its quite ugly as a result.

That is dreadful, at least when litchi comes out we can take as many photos as we can and stitch ourselves.

I always restitch my Panos with Microsoft ICE and then in Photoshop to fill in the sky.  Here is an example of the result.  Just has a little mismatch on the left and right side causing the vertical line. This is fixable with more care in Photoshop.  Bran Castle in Transylvania, Romania.  Taken with a Spark.

Any MacOS applications that are good for stitching?

Hi, Thanks for the response. We will forward your suggestion to our engineers for consideration.

any news about this ? current mode only get +15° up so i have to use Litchi app to get +30° :-(
