Has anyone found a good solution to store just the gimbal portion of the Ronin S for mobility?

The battery and tripod grip in my opinion don't need the protection and the case it came with is a bit of overkill.

Was thinking of something just to throw in my backpack.

I've been using my Macbook pro 13" sleeve to carry my Ronin S around until bags/cases come out.  It fits in perfectly, without the battery/stand installed.

Great tip. I asked myself the same question. Do you have a picture how it looks with the macbook sleeve? I could imagine the sleeve is getting very thick?

Hi kingofaerials, sorry that there is no dedicated gimbal carrying case can be suggested. It is not recommended to just throw it in the backpack, it could damage the gimbal motor, for the safety concern, please store the device in the included carrying case.

I fixed motors with elastic strap, which is included in the box and just put Ronin in tripod pocket of my Wandrd Prvke

Maybe i found a solution for the transport of the DJI Ronin S. Using a bag from Peak Design works great.

I use the Smatree case for the Mavic (yes it is a drone case, but it was perfect for the Ronin S).

Here is the link
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01MR6M3QB/ref=oh_aui_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1

I just took out the Inner Cut outs for the Mavic. I like this case cause it is quite solid (not as hard as a proper hard case like a pelican), but solid enough to take a fall. it also fits perfectly into my Whistler Backpack, I couldn't be happier cause I carry quite a bit in my Whistler back pack and to be able to fit 2 Camera bodies (5D and 1DX) with a Mavic Air, controller, ND filters, Go Pro's, tripod, Selfie Stick, Memory Cards, Extra batteries, Camera tool kit, 4 Lenses and my Ronin S in a single backpack is awesome. I don't baby my gear and tend to drop / rest my back pack when I am traveling and I have made 3 trips so far and due to the weight and geometry my back pack always wants to rest front first (which is where my Ronin S sits) so far this case has taken the brunt of all that weight of my back pack and it has done a great job protecting my Ronin S.

I would recommend this to anyone with a Ronin S and Whistler backpack (note, the whistler back pack has a very large from pocket and fits this case, if your back pack is not big enough, you may want to find a different solution for the Ronin S)

I'm using this:

https://www.toscanadrone.com/sho ... 72-dji-ronin-s.html

You can store the Ronin-S balanced and with camera attached.

I'm using this:

https://www.toscanadrone.com/shop/borse-rigide-per-droni/13-shop/72-dji-ronin-s.html

This is exactly what I'm looking for - I need a case where I can just grab the Ronin and start shooting.

Do you know how deep it is? I can't find the information on the website and I'm trying to see which camera/lens combination I could leave on it.

Thanks
