Really nothing special! During the maiden flight today I did a few shots to test if the camera was working properly and to get a first impression. The pictures below are as they came from the internal memory of M2P (the new SD card did not arrive on time), no editing only downsizing for this forum done.

Really nice colours in the first one, and great clarity in the low light , exposure spot on. Good job.

Nice Dude! One suggestion on the first picture, if you had the sun behind your AC you would have captured a more dramatic shadows of the fruit lines!

Thank you very much and I fully agree. But this picture was taken seconds after the first take off just because the light and colors were so nice. I was fully focussed on flying it the first time and not on planning pictures. In addition I had the Mavic Air up at the same time taking some footage of the maiden flight with me controlling both of them ;-)

Pictures look great right off the card. Pretty country too.

For the time being yes because I have some projects for both together. For the longer term I don't yet because I had promised my wife to sell the Air in exchange. My heart clearly tells me to keep both though... ;-)

Thank you very much dear friend! :-) These were just "Quickshots", no time for planning or special settings. Saw the sunset in the clouds and pushed the button. But I was impressed about the overall quality coming straight from the internal storage.

They've turned out well, just shows what a difference the larger chip makes, larger pixels sucking up all the extra photons

I think for now the Mavic Pro Platinum I have will give me some 3-5 years work, then I will upgrade at a later stage when there is a significant gap.

If you stay uptodate with all this New Technology and Mobile Phones each year I would go bankrupt in 6 months.

I fully agree. Altough I have no own experience with it I am sure that the MPP is a great aircraft. If I had it I probably would not have upgraded to the M2P.

Thank you very much! :-) The new European weight categories are not yet finalised and in force. I assume that DJI has carefully checked that the M2's will not fall in the higher category just for 5/7 gramms.
For flying in cities it very much depends on where precisely you want to fly. Certain categories of buildings and areas are generally prohibited (including private houses and gardens) and there are local NFZ for other reasons. Thank you very much! :-) I had only one flight yesterday. It feels very stable and dynamic, it's a great pleasure to fly it.

Also people are fixated about weight an ignoring the 80J criteria. Which the M2 could well be under.

Feels nice to finally get it though after DJI lying about shipping and DHL/Customs making it worse!
