It has a wheel on the controller...I just manually zoomed in....I think that’s 4x

In the beginning when panning (turning the quad away from you), the footage seems choppy. Is this because it is raw footage?

I have seen different panning vids with the Mavic 2 (zoom and pro), some vids seem to have smooth panning video whereas others have a choppy, skipping video.

Is the smoothing done in post editing? I thought that the yaw axis on the gimbal would maintain a smooth video when panning the drone.

yea...its a little problem...i was shooting in 2.7k 30 fps...and on auto...if you pan slower it doesnt get as choppy...one of the things Im working through...could just be it doesnt like auto...

That is with intelligent zoom (or how they call it).
The first 2x zoom is optical, after that they crop the sensor.
It does look like you get to 100mm indeed.

60 frames is where it is at.  In other words 60 frames is smoother.

Yea..it’s just where it was at when I took off...I was more interested in the zoom capability..
