Hey there! I'm one of the 20 approved UAV pilots that was allowed to fly (again!!) at this years Burning Man. We brought out our Inspire 1 (Original T600!!) with X5 and the 25mm Olympus lens (Fell in LOVE with this combo for this kind of event). We are working on a full recap with a ton of the art pieces to be released this weekend, but for now wanted to share this little gem.

On a side note, anyone ever been to the burn? Or plan on going in the future?

200 Iso, and I forget the shutter... We were also using a fast lens. 25mm Olympus. I think it's a 1.8

We stayed back and away from groups of people, and Burning Man uses the AMA's guidelines for day/night flying. They don't allow commercial pilots. Hobbiest's only. ;-)

I was unable to make it back this year, but I do actually have plans to make it out next year. I'm working on obtaining UAV Flight permission for next year as well. Fingers crossed I'll be able to go and fly!
