Hi there !First of all, i'm from Poland, so sorry for my English, but i'll try to do my best ;)
Today i recieved my Inspire 2.
I'm waiting for the X5S gimbal, so i tried it out without the camera attached to the bird.
I noticed that there's a high-pitched whistling sound when I2 is in the air.
When it sits on the ground with powered motors everything is ok, but when it goes up this weird sound is back.
Did anybody have a similar experience ?
Props are locked tight, there's no weird sounds when i turn the motors by hand, so i have no idea what's the reason for that noise in the air.
Or maybe it's normal ??
I made a video, so maybe this will clear up the situation a bit.

Thanks in advance for any advice

Hi Wanda.
Yes i did, but there's no any difference between 2 sets of props.
I'm thinking there can be a problem with the bearings inside the motors. It's really hard to determinate where that sound comes from.
Maybe i should power up the motors without the propellers and check how they sounds that way ?

No, you have to change one motor. I had the same problem with mine. So you had to keep of the props and with your hand turn inch motor slowly, the nosy one should be harder to turn than the other. Try this

Yes, you may try to check it please then let us know if it's still having the noise.

Ok, i did the test and i'm 99% sure that, at certain motors speed, this whistling sound comes from the both rear rotors.
So what to do next ?

The ESC’s are not timed properly. Send it back to DJI to remap the timing.

Well, not quite near Warsaw, but i know the store when you'll be able to get the new P4Pv2. They have 3 of them in stock at this moment, so i'm sure you won't have any problems with buying one
Check your PM's

I've had the whistling sound since my drone was new. Its been to service for other things but I keep flying mine but I agree that its a bit annoying. Mine is very settled but still there.

On your second video I also noticed some kind of rattling noise depending of the speed. This reminds me that some I2 owners found a screw inside the motor sucked by the magnetic parts. This came from a horrible sloppy assembling quality. So try to have a look trough the cooling vents with a torch and check if there is anything that doesn't belong to.
