I know lenses have a sweet spot, and generally the smallest aperture is to avoid.
I even thought 5,6 was the sweet spot, but here the widest apertures gives the best results.

True! I just recorded a quick fly-by using f11 and even with +1 sharpness, the footage sucked!

f/11 of course you would.  You're well into diffraction territory there.

Many of us know we should avoid f11, but I did not expect the results to be less sharp around 5.6 or 8, so it's good to know !

Ive not noticed any reduction in sharpness in the f/2.8 to f/8 range yet.  (DNG stills).
I'll do more tests when weather allows but im not seeing any obvious drop off in sharpness at all

According to the charts, 2.8 is the sharpest.

Certainly isn't what im seeing on stills.

Is it not a bit conspicuous when at the bottom of that blog, there is a direct link to Amazon to buy N D Filters. I don’t believe it’s there by accident .
