I went out with the mavic 2 pro this norning, I had 86% on the remote which I thought would be more than enough, after a 25 min flight the controller was down to 14%.. I was using a iphone aswell, I thought the remote didnt try to charge iphones, how comes this battery drained so fast.. If I had two batteries for the mavic I wouldnt have been able to launch for the second flight, well not all of it...
my inspre 2 remote would last a wholde day of flying,

not too uncommon newer drones just released have battery related issues it will get fixes within 2nd or 3rd firmware update as always with DJi it seems lately.  keep it close also select to display voltage on screen in the app voltage is the real teller of if battery is weak or strong.   percentage is a calculation of strength and remaining power.

edit: just realized you said remote not aricraft, that is more uncommon that the remote drops like that. and thats also interesrting

You can select if it charging the phone or not. Works just for Apple devices.

There is a toggle to turn smartphone charging on and off, it should say “idevice charging because it only works with apple products..
