Thanks for sharing your experience to calculate how fast that fantastic drone of us would go, well technically the maximum speed of it is 40 mph (65 kph) in Sports mode without wind. I am surprised on how you have figured out and exceed my expectations for it. Appreciate your navigation expertise.

That must have been quite a tail wind

Did you also do it in airplane mode? In sport mode the drone only squats back to slow itself down in really strong wind.

Was in sport mode, yup wind was quite bad

Nice open area you flew in. You could have overtook a cheetah at half speed, cool.  Best so far out of my Mavic Air, was 66.5km/h.

Wow.      

Well I went at it again today in a nice tailwind and clocked in at 86.5 km/h! But then it exits airplane mode..

The South African August winds really helping you out there. Awesome. Must be a drone MP speed record. Keep it up.
