I bought the Mavic 2 Zoom and it suffers from really poor range and the video is very grainy and full of noise. I have tried playing around with the settings but there is no improvement.

Also, after flying 300 or so metres in quite an open area, the video link drops and I lose the signal, does anyone know if it sounds like a manufacturing defect?

Mine has good video and range.  Is it the recorded video or the live feed?

What phone or tablet? M2z is awesome n u should not suffer these defects.

I am using the IPhone X

It's both the live feed and recorded video.

I noticed my rc signal randomly drops sometimes. Totally random. It doesn't happen often or for very long. Going to wait for a few firmware updates to see if its corrected. He was asking what device you are using with your zoom. Tablet, apple, samsung, phone ???

There’s a whole other link about what you are experiencing ...it’s the Mavic 2 is compatible with DJI Goggles thread...pop over there and others are have the same problem...

Video recorded on microSD card should not be effected by drops (or lost) of signal between MP2 drone and RC.  Such a problem would point to an issue with Mavic-2 drone.

The quality is poor even without the RE Goggles. That is a separate issue altogether. I am returning both the goggles and the Zoom drone.

Hi,
At what time did you shoot this video? Do you have any filter on the camera? It may be because the light is not very good, try recording when there is sunlight and see any difference...
Also are you using wifi mode? This might be the reason for short range

Thanks, I shot this at 5 pm in UK, when there was good light. No filter, and no there is no Wifi mode on Mavic 2.

Yes, I did since normal is even more grainy.
