Been using the 45mm Olympus on the x5s a lot lately, I have to say I like the look of it!

Single operator usage with it is proving to be challenging but do-able, with my biggest issue being keeping things in focus as they get closer or further away!
I guess its something I just need a person with the Focus puller for.

Same type of thing goes on here in eastern NM this time of year but sure don’t have the fan fare that I see there. Looks like a line of tourist along that fence. Ha!

Anyway thanks for posting. I just got my 45mm in but haven’t balanced it yet(all the order didn’t come in)

Yeah, it was a vintage machine work day, so they all came out to watch! it was a bit of a different event, very nice to be helping out!
you'll really enjoy the new lens when you get to work with it! I've only balanced it with the filter I'm using. It keeps it dead level!

Ok, that explains all the attention now.

Interesting about you just using the filter. I’ve read so many different versions of what it took to balance that I ordered several things. Now if they would just get here. Can’t wait to try it out.
