Anybody know why neither B&H or Crutchfield - two of the most trusted retailers of electronics - has any Mavic 2s in stock? (Sorry, but I don't trust DJI enough to buy direst from them.) maybe I'll just make do with my little Spark, save a lot of money...

Amazon still doesn't have any yet .

Tax free also from both the retailers I referenced - if you don't live in New York or Virginia. Plus they both offer excellent customer service, return policies, tech support, etc. Check their web sites.

I bought my P4P+ from them too. Response fast, ship fast.

All my DJI stuff has come directly from DJI. I have not had any problems. Seems like it always takes a little while for new drones to become widely available.

I work for a company on a well-known client project and they sell both Mavic 2's. To be totally upfront, I get 10% off the retail price because of buying through my Employer Discount Program. If you really want, I'd offer to buy either or both drones and sell them to you, which would come shipped directly from the seller with next day shipping. Let me know if you're interested. Cheers.

Try to contact your local Crutchfield directly and ask about ordering the drone you'd like. Sometimes their buyers will not be completely up to date but are still able to order it!

I ordered directly from dji - I trust their products, so why shouldn't I trust their store? ;)

Glad to hear it. Unfortunately, that has not been my experience-or that of many others. I fear that, on the other hand,  mediocre or poor customer service has become so commonplace that people take it for granted. There is no need.

Best Buy had plenty when I ordered from them and I received my M2P and Fly More Combo two days after clicking the purchase button.

I ordered directly from DJI, it got here in about a week with the "priority shipping coupon." SD card was in Chinese-labeled packaging but it's all the same!

I always try to buy from DJI Store directly at first - all the time precise and fast shipment with UPS delivery

The DJI store is good (in my opinion).
Have bought a couple of items from them and it was rather quick.
