I often charge my batteries in the truck on the way to a facility.
There have been many occasions when I arrived that one or more packs became disconnected during the drive and I didn't realize it, and had to sit around and wait for packs to charge.

This means that while I have about 35k in an M210 RTK and accessories, I have to sit around wait for this poorly thought out charger to do it's thing.

Does anyone know of any better charging solutions that exist?

I have much of the same experience.  Even with a very small impact, the contact between the tb55 and the charging hub is loosened, so it is often the case that one or more of the batteries do not charge unintentionally,  I know this is made because of compatibility with tb50, but it is certainly inconvenient for tb55 battery users.  (This problem does not occur with the tb50 battery.)

I've had the issue with both packs.

Hmm we had the same problem.. I have 10 TB55 batteries and it takes 90 minutes to charge a pair using the old charger, thats why we modified the battery station meant for TB50 to chrage TB55. We made a few more for sale here: www.sodji.com

Thanks weiliang,

I wonder if I can modify my own charging station quite easily.
Would be super cool if you were to share the .stl files and I could print that myself!

Had the same problem! The tb55 corner radius is bigger than the tb50.
Here is my fix.
Just snip off those 2 tabs on the bottom of each bay of the hub.
After the the tb55 clips well!
