At least we got a camera now

This is not a new release, it came quite a while ago already. It was a stand alone update for DJO GO 4 on CrystalSky without firmware update.

Well it popped up on my CS this morning so I guess it´s new for the CS. Before the update I didn't even have a picture. So to solve the problem we still need a new firmware update for the CS?

Not necessarily. With version 4.2.21 DJI has detached the GO 4 versions from the firmware, so it can be updated independently which is a big progress. Nevertheless GO 4 for CrystalSky continues to be a special version. We cannot install the general Android version that is on Playstore. Thus we can only hope that DJI will soon provide the new GO 4 which works for Mavic 2.

Hi Swedrone, currently, the APP in CS is available to update, you may go to DJI GO/DJI GO 4 App> "Me"> "Settings" and click "Check for Update", then follow the steps to update to see whether it works. The latest version of DJI GO 4 in CS is V4.2.21, you may check the number and see whether the update is successful.

Now I have done a test flight and it works. However the battery level is not shown which makes for a extra special experience

I have done a test flight and it works except for the battery level percentage and some other stuff is not working in the app. The slider that shows the battery level works also you can see the battery level on the remote controller. Should be an interesting flight. I would say that this app is very usable.

DJI SUSAN:
Please clarify about DJI GO app on CS being ready for update. The 21 level of DJI Go 4 on CS has been available for sometime and we are still missing the 24 level the rest of the world has had for sometime. My CS has been ready for update for several months.

In regards to your concern about the Compatibility of Crystal Sky 7.85 Ultra Brightness to Mavic 2 Remote Controller. as per checking, the Crystal Sky is not yet compatible with Mavic 2 Zoom and Mavic 2 there are no future developments to enhance this option at the moment. What we can do is collect all related feedback on relating to this concern and forwards them to our Developers as Customer Suggestion to further review as a case possibility for the next firmware update/product enhancement.

Maybe just for flying, but I am quite sure that it does not give you access to all the new camera options for the M2P which are what most people have bought it for.

From all what I have found on that so far, doing so requires some prior knowledge and experience in Android modifications with still certain risks involved. I prefer not to go on that side for the time being and I trust that we shall get the update not too far in the future like it has always been the case until now.

The dark side is too tempting but I think I'll wait also considering I havent even maiden my mavic 2 and sitting for almost 3weeks.

OK tried it today. Flying is OK
Format SD card works.
Start recording - Not working
Taking pictures - focus works but no pictures are taken at least no sound. At home I discovered that it took 3 out of 30 pitures anyway.

Conclution is that flying is OK but thats about it

Thank you for the update. Great shot by the way. And there is real hope now. As shown in another thread, GO 4 version 4.3.0 has been released for CS 5.5 today. Thus the one for 7.85 can't be that far away. I keep checking more or less on an hourly basis and shall report back.

Yeah saw the thread but here in Scandinavia it hasn't popped up yet
