Hey everyone,

I was flying the other night and happened to catch a pretty cool lightning strike on video.  I exported it to the shot below.

LOL, not sure why that 2nd photo is there.  I posted that a while back in a different post.  I can't seem to delete it...

Very nice I keep flying mine up when I see lightning but it seems to stop every time so I am going to keep trying.

I recently had a lightning shot (posted a few weeks back).  Not nearly as nice/crisp though.

In my video I had about 3 frames with the bolt.  Although two were washed out a lot more than the third.
I'm surprised you only had it in 1 frame though.  I would have guessed it would have been in more.

You are correct.  My lightning picture was actually generated from three frames of the lightning strike in the video I was recording.  I exported the three frames with lightning in them and then used Photoshop Elements to 'photo stack' the photos to create a single image.  I'd never used the photo stack technique before but I was pleased with how it came out.
