So i was out filming with the Mavic pro 2 yesterday using 2.7k at 60 fps decided to try active track, when i reviewed the footage on my pc i noticed that when i was in active track the framerate had switched to 30 fps on its own with no input from me, is this normal ?

Unfortunately currently that''s "normal" - I hope DJI will fix that in a future firmware release.

I think they intentionally do that as there is insufficient processing power to handle 2.7k 60 fps recording and active track, so future firmware upgrade may not solve this problem!
I also do 2.7k 60 fps recording and try to avoid using active tracking ..
