Hi guys,
Got a custom built UAV with A3 Pro on it. X8 U13, Flame 180AHV ESC's.
It has been flying great - until recently it frequently switching IMU's in flight due to heading exception. When it switches IMU's the heading of the aircraft changes agressively and even pitches/rolls. Not very comforting.
Last two flights I performed a cold IMU calibration via the Go App. On two separate flights, the IMU switched 4-5 times in quick succession.
The IMU's are all correctly aligned and values in relation to CoG tripple checked. (as well as compasses). The IMU data/bias all within acceptable ranges prior to take-off.
Main controller IMU as priority.
Wondering if anyone has encountered this issue and has a solution for it? any information would be great, even open discussion about some potential fixes.
